Whoa! Although I love the rest of this collection, as well (and Rictor and Shatterstar are a fave couple for me, while Mystique is one of my favorite villains/ anti-heroes), this one will get the comments.

Xi'an rarely gets any fan art, which is sad, since she is a very interesting character, with a well-defined past and personality.

You made her look so beautiful here, and it looks exactly like her. From the attitude to the clothing choices (just like everyone else from this collection).

I would love to see more New Mutants art from you.

Hey Cesar, I grew up on New Mutants man. And while I really like them all - Dani, Berto, Sam and Rahne...Xi'an always stood out; even though she was the original team leader, she was always low key, responsible, elegant and modest. You're right, those traits; among others; have stuck to her for 30 years now. I was drawn to the book for the Cultural diversity and stayed for the characters and stories.

I'm thrilled that she's getting more attention now, but she paid the price of notoriety with a leg. ouch.

I am 32 now, but I did my best to get the whole NM collection as soon as I could. I love the 80s, you know? And the New Mutants (and Power Pack) are my favorite from then.

Karma has got to go through so many things, and yet she still fights on, mostly for others. I think that is where she draws strength from, the need to help those around her. Like those months in the desert, when she was about to give up until the Norns created a situation that forced her to get the will to live.

Misty Knight has a sexy arm, but Xi'an gets that ugly leg...

And your work is lovely. Thank you for sharing it and taking the time to reply (not everyone does, and I see you are a nice person in your replies).
